PhilFIDA Participates in the 1st Semester Assessment of Programs, Activities, and Projects (PAPs) funded under the QRF and NDRRMF

The Philippine Fiber Industry Development Authority, through its Technical Assistance Division, actively participated in the 1st Semester Assessment of Programs, Activities, and Projects (PAPs) funded under the Quick Response Fund (QRF) and National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Fund (NDRRMF) on September 25 to 29, 2023, at the World Palace Hotel in Davao City.

This significant activity was aimed at comprehensively assessing and evaluating the physical and financial accomplishments of PAPs funded by the QRF and NDRRMF. These funds were transferred to various Department of Agriculture Regional Field Offices (DA-RFOs), attached Agencies and Bureaus nationwide. The Department of Agriculture-Field Programs Operational Planning Divisions (DA-FPOPD) also conducted hands-on training on the Disaster Risk Reduction Management and Information System (DRRMIS), a system developed by the DRRM Section, to facilitate the monitoring, validation, and streamlined generation of reports on damage and losses caused by calamities. Following the training sessions, participants expressed gratitude for the development of this system, acknowledging its significant role in reporting, particularly in ensuring the timely submission and accuracy of data reports. Furthermore, the activity encompassed discussions on guidelines pertaining to Field Validation and Crafting the Fiscal Year 2025 Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Plan and Budget Proposal.
