PhilFIDA RO VII and Municipality of Dumanjug Organize 2-Day Training on the Production Technology of Sisal and Salago

In a bid to empower the women of Brgy. Kanhumaud in Dumanjug, Cebu, the PhilFIDA Regional Office VII in collaboration with the Municipality of Dumanjug under the leadership of Mayor Efren Guntrano Z. Gica, successfully conducted a two-day training on the Production Technology of Sisal and Salago, including Salago Fiber Extraction, on August 22-23, 2023.

The training sessions were facilitated by Mr. Leonil Abella, Fiber Development Officer of PhilFIDA RO VII, who served as the resource person. He shared his knowledge and expertise in Sisal and Salago fiber extraction, providing the participants with practical skills they could use to engage in sisal and salago production.
