Mesdames Mary Ann L. Pedrosa and Regina Brizuela and Mr. Reynaldo A. Tariga attended the technology forum conducted by the Industrial Technology Development Institute, Department of Science and Technology (ITDI-DOST) in Bicutan,Taguig City last July 4, 2012.

  The whole day forum was conducted in time for the celebration of the 111th Founding Anniversary of ITDI-DOST.  The forum served as a venue where the researchers of the institute presented results of their research in various areas.  It was also a way by which ITDI made public its generated technologies and technical services.

Said undertaking was attended in by participants from the academe, private sector, manufacturing and plastic/resin industries, waste management organizations and other government institutions.

The technology forum was divided into two sessions: the morning session (which had two parts, focused on “Developing Solutions to Pressing National Problems” and “Emerging Technologies to boost National Competitiveness) and the afternoon session (which also had two parts, dealt on “Developing Appropriate Technologies to Create Growth in the Countryside” and “Harnessing Technology to Improve Competitiveness”).
