As part of his commitment to improving organizational efficiency and public service delivery, PhilFIDA Regional Office VIII OIC Regional Director Joseph S. Salas initiated and presided over a meeting with the Administrative Unit personnel, headed by Ms. Evelina Igmen Militante Romero, Administrative Unit Head.
 
The meeting was convened to address pressing issues and concerns affecting the operations of the Administrative Unit, particularly the delayed submission of reports, delays in the processing and payment of claims, and other administrative matters that have impacted the unit’s overall performance.
 
During the meeting, Director Salas underscored the importance of accountability, teamwork, and adherence to timelines in the discharge of administrative responsibilities. He emphasized that timely submission of reports and prompt processing of claims are essential in ensuring efficient office operations and providing quality service to both internal and external clients.
 
Director Salas also encouraged the staff to openly discuss operational challenges and recommend practical solutions to improve workflow, strengthen coordination, and enhance productivity within the unit.
 
The meeting concluded with the Administrative Unit personnel expressing their commitment to implement the agreed action plans and work collectively toward improving the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative operations in support of PhilFIDA Region VIII’s mandate.
