Under the leadership of PhilFIDA V OIC-Regional Director Mary Anne R. Molina, through PFO Brent Baltazar Marbella and Joel Levantino, SFES JO extended 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐚 𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐦 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐞 (𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐊) at the abaca farm of Atty. Ramir Alindogan in Del Rosario, San Fernando, Masbate last September 23–24, 2025.
This milestone marks the 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐚 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐞 assisted by PhilFIDA V—made possible through the 𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐠𝐚𝐧 to pioneer abaca planting in the province. His dedication is now bearing fruit, with the farm showing remarkable growth and producing 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐚 𝐟𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 that open new doors for abaca development in Masbate.
